Renovated commercial office interior with new ceilings, lighting, and finishes
Commercial Remodeling

Commercial Remodeling Contractors

Core Commercial Construction is a full-service commercial remodeling contractor for owners, property managers, and facility teams who need existing space improved without their business grinding to a halt. Offices, retail suites, tenant improvements, and interior renovations — planned, coordinated, and finished by one team.

Services

Commercial remodeling services under one contract

Remodeling an occupied building is a coordination problem as much as a construction one. We handle scope, trades, inspections, and sequencing so your team makes decisions instead of chasing subcontractors.

Full-service remodeling

Demolition through punch list under a single contract — one estimator, one supervisor, one point of contact for the life of the project.

Office renovations

Reconfigured floor plans, new conference and collaboration areas, reception remodels, updated lighting, ceilings, and acoustics.

Commercial space renovations

Retail suites, medical and professional offices, service counters, break rooms, and restrooms brought up to current use and code.

Tenant improvements

Landlord and tenant TI packages executed to the lease exhibit, with allowances tracked and documented as the work progresses.

Interior construction

Framing, drywall, doors and hardware, millwork, ceiling grid, and flooring installed by crews we work with every week.

Painting and finishes

Commercial-grade coatings, wall protection, specialty finishes, and detail work that holds up to daily traffic.

Interiors

Office and commercial space renovations

Most office renovations start with a space that no longer matches how the business runs — too many private offices, not enough meeting rooms, dated finishes, or lighting and power that were never planned for current headcount.

We walk the space with you, translate the changes you want into a real scope and budget, and build it in phases that keep departments working. Where a renovation touches the exterior envelope, we can handle that too — see our EIFS installation and commercial caulking services.

  • Floor plan reconfiguration and demising walls
  • Conference, huddle, and training rooms
  • Reception and client-facing areas
  • Break rooms and employee amenities
  • Restroom remodels and ADA upgrades
  • Lighting, ceilings, and acoustic treatment
  • Data, power, and device relocation coordination
  • Flooring, wall protection, and signage
Tenant Improvements

Tenant improvements that respect the lease and the calendar

Tenant improvement work runs on two clocks: the construction schedule and the lease commencement date. We build to the approved TI scope, document allowance spend, and keep landlord property management, building engineers, and the incoming tenant on the same page.

For second-generation space that needs to be reset to shell before it can be improved, we handle selective demolition and any code-driven upgrades triggered by the change of use.

  • TI scope pricing against the lease exhibit
  • Landlord and property manager coordination
  • Selective demolition and shell restoration
  • Permit applications and inspection scheduling
  • Life-safety, ADA, and code compliance
  • Turnover documentation and closeout package
Finishes

Interior construction and finishes

Drywall, paint, and finish carpentry are what building occupants actually see and judge. Our crews self-perform much of this work, which keeps quality consistent and lets us adjust sequencing quickly when a long-lead item slips or a tenant needs a room back early.

Drywall and framing

Metal stud framing, hanging, taping, and Level 4 and 5 finishes for offices, corridors, and demising walls.

Commercial painting

Surface prep, primer, and durable topcoats scheduled around occupancy, including after-hours application.

Doors, hardware, and millwork

Frames, hardware sets keyed to your building standard, reception desks, casework, and custom trim.

Reliability

A commercial remodeling contractor you can rely on

The commercial remodeling contractors worth hiring are the ones who show up when they said they would, tell you early when something changes, and leave the site clean every night. That is the standard we hold our crews to on every project, regardless of size.

You get a written schedule with milestones, weekly progress updates, and change orders priced and approved before work proceeds — no surprises at billing.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What does a full-service commercial remodeling contractor handle?

We manage the entire remodel: scope development, budgeting, permitting, demolition, framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination, ceilings, flooring, painting, finishes, and final punch list. You work with one accountable contractor instead of managing separate trades.

Can you remodel our space while we stay open?

Yes. Most of our commercial remodeling work happens in occupied buildings. We phase the work area by area, install temporary partitions and dust control, protect exits and life-safety systems, and schedule loud or disruptive tasks outside your business hours.

How is a commercial remodel priced?

Pricing follows the scope. After a walkthrough we produce a line-item estimate covering labor, materials, subcontractors, and general conditions so you can see where the money goes. If the scope changes during construction, we price the change in writing before the work proceeds.

Do you work with our architect or space planner?

We do. We regularly build from an owner's or architect's drawings and provide constructability feedback during design. When there is no design team in place, we can coordinate drawings and engineering so the project keeps moving.

What kinds of commercial properties do you remodel?

Offices, professional suites, retail and restaurant spaces, medical and dental offices, warehouses and distribution facilities, and multi-tenant buildings. Scopes range from a single interior renovation to a full-building remodel.

How do you keep a remodel on schedule?

We build a milestone schedule before work starts, order long-lead materials early, hold trade coordination ahead of each phase, and keep a single point of contact reporting progress so decisions do not sit and stall the job.
